Kοινότητα Η κοινότητα του openSUSE είναι καθοδηγούμενη από μία κοινή φιλοσοφία και οργανωμένη σε πολλές ομάδες οι οποίες επικεντρώνονται σε διαφορετικά πεδία του έργου.

Οι Αρχές του openSUSE περιγράφουν μια φιλοσοφία η οποία διαπερνά και καθοδηγεί το openSUSE σε όλες τις καταστάσεις, ανεξάρτητα από τις αλλαγές στόχων και τις στρατηγικές των ανθρώπων.
Το Συμβούλιο του openSUSE είναι ο προστάτης των "Κατευθυντήριων Αρχών". Παρέχουν οδηγίες, σημαντικές αποφάσεις και δρούν ως κεντρικό σημείο επικοινωνίας ανάμεσα στην κοινότητα και στους υποστηρικτές των έργων.
Τα Μέλη του openSUSE είναι επικυρωμένοι και γνωστοί άνθρωποι οι οποίοι προσφέρουν διαρκή και ουσιαστική προσφορά στο έργο. Αυτοί εκλέγουν το διοικητικό συμβούλιο και δίνουν την ψήφο τους σε οτιδήποτε άλλο χρειαστεί.

Events

The openSUSE Conference is the annual conference of the openSUSE project. All contributors and interested people are invited to gather there and have a lot of fun.
Hackweek is an event where openSUSE developers hack one week on projects they are interested in. Previous Hack Weeks have generated projects like Tasque, Giver, Debian package support in the openSUSE Build Service, and much more.
